Cargill Event Testimonial (April 15, 2015)
We held a work event at Prairie 360 on April 15th, 2015.
They accommodated our group of 22 people in a big, bright, room below the revolving restaurant, with wall-to-wall windows facing North/East. We had a great view of the downtown core and of the Human Rights Museum.
Our event started out with a cocktail hour with appetizers served, while we mingled around the bar and window area. The layout of the restaurant was very conducive to mingling/interacting. Appetizers included, but weren’t limited to: Chicken Satay Skewers, Asparagus & Goat Cheese wrapped in Phyllo, & Spiced Giant Prawns. All of the appetizers were DELICIOUS, and were served by the very friendly Prairie 360 staff.
After the cocktail hour, we were seated the formal dinner. Everyone was served a house-style salad. Then we had our choice of appetizers (because you can never have too many appetizers!) between Prawn Skewers or Pork Back Ribs. We had 4 choices for dinner: Venison Scaloppini, Vegan Paella, NY Striploin, and a Grilled Berkshire Double Pork Chop. Last, but not least, or dessert options were: Rhubard Platz, Chocolate Ganache Paté, or Sponge Cake.
In our experience, the Prairie 360 staff were very sensitive to our needs. They did not rush us at any point. We held a few speeches in between dinner and dessert, and the Prairie 360 team was very courteous, quietly clearing the table where they could.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening. We would certainly put this venue/experience high on our list, when looking for places to entertain people in the future.
